The Mitchel Building, constructed in 1904, is part of the Cincinnati Observatory National Historic Landmark site and houses the Merz and Mahler refractor telescope.

This historic restoration project that brought new life to this building, included significant upgrades to electrical and lighting systems, plus windows and wall repairs. Usable space was also created in the basement area.
