The M. Böhlke Veneer Corporation is an international leader in the production of high quality veneers. Vector Construction, utilizing a design and build process, constructed an 18,000 square-foot, new office and showroom building, plus an 18,000 square-foot, pre-engineered mill building addition, and a 25,000 square-foot pre-engineered warehouse addition.

The primary objective of the new offices and showroom was to display their veneer product lines to give potential customers ideas for their own design projects. Due to the nature of the magnificent finishes included in the design and the high cost woodwork involved, all rough-in items such as data, voice and power outlets and switches, light fixtures and others had to be pre-cisely pre-planned. Vector Construction coordinated these tasks with a minimum of rework.

Throughout the design process, Vector Construction also provided significant value engineering services. The project was completed on time with a $50,000 surplus.
