This set of pictures from Kathe Prungel Morin focuses on Salz Gasse Street in Ernsthausen. The first picture is beleived to be the Family House on Anton Prungel.
During Kathe's visit they felt so unwelcome the pictures were taken from the car. This view of Salz Gasse shows the Prungel House on the left.
A view of one of the Streets leading out of Ernsthausen. Today Blacktop. It seems one of the few improvements made.
Here a picture of Kathe's dads house located on Sazl Gasse...
Another view of Sazl Gasse Street. While visiting Kathe had many thoughts you can read about them Here.
These homes are typical of the old German Homes with there courtyards and gardens behind the brick fences.
The center square. Former the location of the church which the town was built around. Other pictures of this area are above and show better the site of the church.
Here you can see the fields which surround the village. This field is located on the road between Ernsthausen and Sartscha. When you see the lay of the land one can come to understand why our ancestors settled where they did here in the USA.
Behind this present day village sign you can again get a glimse of the fields developed and worked by our ancestors..taken away by Tito with no compansation.
Here some homes maybe located across from the central square very near where the church resided.
And the Central Square again
